Endoscopy enables the physician to look inside the stomach, esophagus and the duodenum. Your stomach must be empty for the procedure so you will not be able to eat anything one night before after 24:00. You may be allowed to drink water several hours before the examination.      The Endoscopy Unit in our hospital produces successful examinations and the results are given to the patient on the same day.
